After breakfast, leave Manyara Secret and continue towards the Central Serengeti, travelling through the changing landscapes of northern Tanzania. As you approach the Serengeti, the scenery opens into vast grasslands, acacia-covered plains and rocky kopjes that form part of one of Africa’s most celebrated wildlife ecosystems. Upon entering the Serengeti, the journey becomes part of the safari itself. Your private guide will take advantage of suitable wildlife-viewing opportunities along the route, with time to stop whenever there is interesting wildlife or a good photographic opportunity. As you continue towards the Seronera area, keep an eye out for giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, elephants, buffaloes and the predators that make the Central Serengeti their home. Later in the afternoon, enjoy a game drive around the Central Serengeti before continuing to Zuri Serengeti for dinner and overnight. The exact route and game-viewing areas will remain flexible, allowing your guide to respond to wildlife activity and road conditions on the day.

The Central Serengeti, particularly around the Seronera area, offers a varied landscape of open grasslands, acacia woodland, riverine areas and rocky kopjes, supporting a wide range of wildlife throughout the year. With your private safari vehicle and experienced guide, the day can be shaped around the wildlife activity encountered along the way. Keep watch for elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras and wildebeest, while lions, leopards, cheetahs and other predators may be encountered depending on the conditions and their movements. The Serengeti is also home to an exceptional diversity of birdlife, adding another dimension to the game-viewing experience. Take time to enjoy lunch during the safari before continuing with afternoon wildlife viewing.
