Ang'ata ngorongoro camp

Ang'ata Ngorongoro Camp is an intimate tented camp set on the eastern rim of the Ngorongoro Crater within the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Located close to Lemala Gate, the camp provides a convenient base for exploring the crater, with the added advantage of being well positioned for early morning game drives. The camp has just eight guest tents, including a two-tent family unit, creating a peaceful and personal safari atmosphere. Each tent features an en-suite bathroom with a shower, vanity area and flush toilet, together with comfortable sleeping arrangements that can be configured as a king-size bed, twin beds or a triple. Guests gather in the lounge tent to relax after a day on safari, enjoy complimentary Tanzanian tea or coffee, and share stories with fellow travellers. Freshly prepared breakfast, lunch and dinner are served in the dining tent, while the campfire provides a classic way to spend the evening when weather conditions allow. The camp embraces the character of a genuine wilderness experience, with solar-powered electricity, carefully spaced tents and the natural sounds of the Ngorongoro highlands surrounding the property. Staff can also assist guests with hot water and evening movement around camp. Its location near the crater makes Ang'ata Ngorongoro Camp particularly suitable for travellers who want comfortable tented accommodation combined with convenient access to the Ngorongoro Crater and the wider conservation area.
