A stop with the village's Makonde wood-carvers, known across Tanzania for their craftsmanship, and the basket-weavers who supply much of the market. Balaa Hill & Miwaleni Waterfall

Real village life. The guides, cooks and craftspeople are actual Mto wa Mbu residents working through the village's own Cultural Tourism Programme, not performers hired for a show.
