Serengeti National Park
Your 3-day private Serengeti safari begins with a convenient pickup from your Zanzibar hotel. We transfer you to Zanzibar Airport for your scheduled domestic flight to Serengeti National Park, allowing you to reach the heart of Tanzania’s legendary safari country without the long overland journey from Arusha. After landing at a Serengeti airstrip, your private safari guide will meet you and begin your first game drive through the endless plains of Serengeti National Park. As you explore the Central Serengeti and Seronera area, keep watch for lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, gazelles and other wildlife that make this region one of Africa’s most famous safari destinations. Enjoy a picnic lunch in a designated area during the day before continuing your afternoon game drive. As the light softens across the savannah, continue exploring the wildlife-rich plains before heading to your Serengeti accommodation for dinner and your first night in the heart of the national park. This fly-in Serengeti safari is designed to maximize your time in the wilderness, giving you more time for wildlife viewing and less time spent travelling by road.
Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Serengeti National Park
Wake up in the heart of Serengeti National Park for a full day of wildlife exploration in Central Serengeti. After an early breakfast, set out with your private safari guide for a sunrise game drive around the Seronera Valley, one of the most productive wildlife areas in the park. The cool morning hours offer excellent opportunities to observe predators and other wildlife as the Serengeti comes alive. Your guide will carefully read the landscape, animal tracks and recent sightings to help you discover lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos and many other species. Wildlife sightings are naturally dependent on the season and daily animal movements, so every game drive is different. Continue exploring Central Serengeti through the morning before stopping at a designated picnic site for lunch. After lunch, continue your private 4x4 game drive through the Seronera area and surrounding plains, following the best available wildlife sightings of the day. As the afternoon light begins to soften, enjoy more game viewing before returning to your Serengeti accommodation for dinner and your second night in the wilderness. This full day in the Serengeti is the heart of the safari, giving you more time to explore without having to travel between destinations.
