Your Chemka Hot Springs day trip begins with a private pick-up from your agreed location in Arusha or Moshi. Enjoy a scenic drive through the countryside towards Kikuletwa Hot Springs, also known as Chemka, a beautiful natural swimming spot surrounded by trees and lush vegetation. Upon arrival, explore the peaceful surroundings and enjoy swimming in the clear, turquoise-coloured water. Relax beneath the shade of the trees, take photographs and appreciate this refreshing natural escape in northern Tanzania. You will have time to enjoy the hot springs at your own pace, whether you prefer swimming, relaxing by the water or simply taking in the scenery. After your visit, enjoy the included lunch before travelling back to your agreed drop-off point in Arusha or Moshi. This experience is an excellent addition to a Tanzania safari or Kilimanjaro holiday, offering a relaxing day away from the usual travel schedule.

Most nationalities need a Tanzania visa, available on arrival or online in advance — the fee is not included in the trip price.
Souvenirs, gemstones, artwork and other personal purchases are at the guest’s own expense.

You can obtain this visa either online or on arrival. Typically, it takes 3-5 days to get your visa approved online. However, if your trip starts in less than a week, we recommend opting for the on-arrival visa. To avoid issues with POS machines, bring $50 in cash.
