Day 1 – Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport & Transfer to Arusha

Your Tanzanian adventure begins with your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, where you will be warmly welcomed by the Tanzalux team and privately transferred to Arusha. As you leave the airport behind, enjoy your first introduction to northern Tanzania and the landscapes surrounding Arusha. On arrival in Arusha, check in at Gold Crest Hotel and take time to settle in and recover from your journey. The evening is intentionally relaxed, giving you time to rest and prepare for the safari days ahead. Your Tanzalux team will ensure you have the essential information for the following day’s departure to Tarangire National Park. Overnight in Arusha, ready to begin your private safari the next morning.
