Grateful experience
As a solo female traveler, I felt super safe and well taken care of the entire time.

Skip the 6-hour drive: a scheduled light-aircraft flight puts you in the heart of the Serengeti in under an hour, for two full days of game drives with almost no time lost to the road, plus a scenic return flight over the Ngorongoro highlands.
Tap a day to expand it.
Morning transfer to Arusha Airport for a scheduled flight to Seronera airstrip in the central Serengeti — around 45-60 minutes in the air versus 6+ hours by road. Your driver-guide meets you at the airstrip for a game drive en route to your camp, arriving in time for lunch.
A full day of game drives around the Seronera Valley, one of the Serengeti's most reliable areas for lion and leopard sightings year-round thanks to its permanent river system. Morning and afternoon drives, with a midday break at camp during the heat of the day.
A second full day exploring a different part of the park — the Mara River area in the north (June-October, migration river crossings) or the Western Corridor (May-July) depending on where the wildlife is concentrated when you travel. Your guide plans the day around what's actually happening on the ground.
A final short game drive on the way to the airstrip, then a scheduled flight back to Arusha with sweeping aerial views over the Ngorongoro Conservation Area highlands before landing.
An experienced local driver-guide who handles navigation, wildlife spotting, and park logistics throughout the trip, and speaks fluent English.
Every park entry permit and conservation fee for the parks on your itinerary is paid in advance — nothing to arrange or pay at the gate.
Bottled drinking water is stocked in the vehicle for every game drive, at no extra cost.
Flights to and from Tanzania are not included — we can recommend routes and airlines on request.
Most nationalities need a Tanzania visa, available on arrival or online in advance — the fee is not included in the trip price.
We require all travelers to carry their own travel insurance, including emergency medical evacuation cover — not included in the trip price.

You can obtain this visa either online or on arrival. Typically, it takes 3-5 days to get your visa approved online. However, if your trip starts in less than a week, we recommend opting for the on-arrival visa. To avoid issues with POS machines, bring $50 in cash.
East African Community citizens travel visa-free. Other reciprocal exceptions may apply — always confirm the exact requirement for your passport on the official portal above before booking flights.
